Please watch this movie on Table Saw Safety. It sounds like a horror flick, but I promise it is G-Rated..

Woods II Projects Podcast
Parents and students can view this podcast for the progress of the woodworking projects in the Woods II class. This photo story takes a a few minutes to download, but it will eventually play.
Barney Fife on TeacherTube
I have never visited TeacherTube before, however I was surprised with the variety of videos on this site. I enjoy watching the old Andy Griffith shows so my favorite video on TeacherTube was "Barney Fife and The Preamble to the Constitution." What a classic for all ages!

iTunes Podcast
I subscribed to the podcast on iTunes called "Technologies Changing Communities, Communities Innovating Technology." This podcast is located within the topic of Architecture/Planning which I thought would be relevant to my Computer Aided Drafting classes. I thought the podcast was interesting in how the speakers and audience interacted in a question and answer session in regards to projects for upgrading neighborhoods in Brooklyn, NY and the island of Peru.
I could see the potential for utilizing podcasts as an assignment in my curriculum. It's another great resource for teachers to take advantage of to increase student learning. One major roadblock is not all students have access to iTunes since not everyone has a computer or iPod at home and this program is blocked on our district computers. One solution is to make this an optional assignment or part of a choice board.
